How much does it cost to join?
Nothing. Creating a partner account is free and takes about a minute — there is no application, approval queue, or minimum audience.
When do I actually get paid?
Commission is confirmed once the order is paid and its refund window has passed. Payouts are then sent manually to whichever method you saved in your dashboard. Reply to your welcome email to arrange one.
What counts as a referral?
Anyone who visits RazorFile through your link and places a paid order within the attribution window. They do not need to buy on the first visit — the attribution is stored in their browser.
Does the state filing fee count toward my commission?
No. That fee is collected for the customer's state and passed straight through at zero markup, so it is excluded from the commission base in both directions. Your dashboard shows the service-fee figure your percentage is applied to.
Can I refer myself, or my own company?
No. An order placed with the same email as your partner account is not attributed, and the attempt is recorded. Referring genuine clients of your agency is completely fine — that is what the program is for.
Can I run ads on the RazorFile brand name?
No. Bidding on "RazorFile" or close variants in paid search competes with our own listings and is grounds for removal from the program. Ads targeting your own audience or topic keywords are welcome.
What can I promise my audience?
What we promise: a real LLC filed with the state, an EIN without an SSN or a US visit, and a Registered Agent. What nobody can promise — including us — is that a bank or payment processor will approve any given applicant. Do not guarantee that.
Do I need a US company myself to be a partner?
No. Partners join from anywhere, and most are outside the US.
Can I see my numbers before I get paid?
Yes — that is the point of the dashboard. Referred orders, the revenue they generated, and the payout owed are computed live from the same data we use internally, not from a monthly statement you have to trust.
What happens if a customer refunds?
That order stops counting toward your commission, since the revenue it was based on no longer exists.

Program terms
Commission is calculated on the RazorFile service fee only. State government filing fees are collected on the customer's behalf and paid straight to the state, so they are never part of the commission base. Commission is confirmed once an order is paid and the refund window has passed; refunded or charged-back orders are reversed. Self-referrals do not earn commission — an order placed with the same email as the partner account is not attributed. You may not bid on "RazorFile" or close variants in paid search, imply you are RazorFile, or make guarantees about bank or payment-processor approval, which no formation provider can promise. Payouts are sent manually once your balance is confirmed; add your payout details in your dashboard.
